Can you give me ideas for storing cowboy boots?

Question

Does anyone have any ideas for storing/organizing cowboy boots? They don't fit on a usual shoe rack and take up a lot of space on the closet floor. The pre-made racks specifically for boots are expensive. And the DIY ones often involve welding which is beyond what I'd like to do.Thanks for any great ideas!

I use one of the boot racks that you invert your boots. I turn them back to front then front to back. This works perfectly and they don't cause the weight to topple the holder, the other issue I had.

Could you stack some wooden crates together to create something to store your boots? You could also try making a boot rack out of pallets. It doesn't have to be made out of metal!

Hi Annie, sorry you are having a hard time storing/organizing your cowboy boots. You can be sure they stand up by putting news paper or grocery bags you want to later recycle in them. A suggestion, since the other s gave you such good ideas, is that when I store my boots, I keep a section of pool noodle in them to keep them from flopping over. It also keeps them aired out.
