Hi Joan, what kind of application are you needing the material to do? Are you covering a couch or car seats?

You can add a gripper to one side but leather is proned to slipping.

Unfortunately, without some sort of little grippers on the fabric, not much won't slip off :( You can always try adding very tiny dabs of glue with a low temp glue gun to the bottom of the fabric and usually even a couple of tiny spots will keep the pillow or fabric from sliding off. Good luck!

If you’re thinking of car seats, I would not leave any gripper or plastic/rubber material touching the seats when the car is parked in the sun. It will cause discoloration of the leather, through off-gassing.

I don’t know what kind of leather you are talking about if it’s a couch for a throw on the throw you could put hot glue on the blanket on the sides you won’t even see it and when it hits the leather it will stay put .If your talking about a leather skirt.maybe try cotton or even try putting a couple of hot glue drops on inside of your top .

Sorry, was asking about a sofa. The back and arm rest of the sofa. As far as the type of leather, the sofa was purchased at Lazy Boys. It is supposed to be top quality.

Since its last boy, I'd call them to see what if anything they recommend. I find in all sofas arm and head rests pieces always fall off. I just use a blanket or throw on the back and a kitchen towel on the arm if eating on my sofa. I store the the arm covers under the seat since they always fall off and aggravate me. And yes have to straighten up the throw blanket every night. I learned to hate leather, only cloth from now on
