How do I make a stable for my dog nativity scene?

I am glad I didn't say: ya know Dogs can eat or choke on popsicle sticks so I would recommend going with something bigger that the dog can't eat or choke on.

The nativity figurines are a variety of dogs dressed in the nativity costumes. The original photograph was taken by a woman in the UK who with her husband rescued dogs and decided to incorporate them into a nativity scene and posted the picture on the internet. It went viral a few years ago and this year some manufacturers took the plunge and decided to make it come to life so to speak. It is a darling scene with seven figurines about 3 1\2 inches tall and each dog is different. I am a dog lover and other dog lovers hopped on the bandwagon and made it popular this Christmas for themselves as I did or as gifts. Who knew a simple photograph from the UK would become a favorite in the US.
