Can I grow a tuber out of a Gloxinia cutting?

i created for the first time a Gloxinia cutting from a leaf and its growing nicely, even though its suppose to be in its dormancy period (winter). I was wondering if it eventually will create a tuber, and if it does, at what time would i expect it?
