Haven't decided what to do with the picture. It was found in the frame. Would love thoughts on that, as well.
How can I upcycle these old frames?
My husband found these frames+ mirror. I would like to make them special, more unique, but I'm not sure what I want to do. I have some thoughts- paint them all one colour, paint designs, or mosaic with tiles. I love colour, ethnic- inspired prints, and boho decor. I'd love to hear any thoughts to help my process along. Or examples, if you have any.

I think all of your ideas are good. Other options are making then into trays or back the frame with chicken wire for photo displays or jewelry.
I think I would just paint the frames in the colors that match/coordinate. The rug that your frames are laying on has some pretty colors in it!
Here's another idea!

I love the idea of painting all the frames a coordinating color. Then I would make them into a gallery wall.
How about framing some fabrics that you love and paint the frames to co-ordinate? Like I did here: https://www.frugalfamilytimes.com/2018/07/ultra-easy-custom-fabric-art-how-to.html
Take a look here, my favorites would be the tiered herb drying rack and the ceiling medallion:

These pictures are NOT made for mosiac. Chalk paint one color and distress the edges. That will make them feel like they "belong" to the picture. Use a neutral. If you already have lots of color ie" the background they are laying on you do not want to detract from the picture with multiple colors. The subject is the picture NOT the frame.
Use some ethnic print fabric and ModPodge to cover the frames for various ethnic paintings and prints. This could be very interesting to see throughout your home. Jewell
Paint them all the same bold color
Paint the all the same colour and docs wall collage.
After you paint all the same color, I would matt the pictures in the same width and a contrasting color. As for the mirror, I would paint the outside frame black, and the inside garnet red. Go to your local good will or salvation army and check out old pictures for the rest of the frames.
Hobby Lobby has some nice prints too.

I had an old frame and covered it in a cotton fabric I liked and that matched my decor. It was really easy (I just PVA'd it) and looks great.
