Sprinkle baking soda on a damp sponge and wipe down. Then rinse and dry. If that doesn't work, try 1/4c baking soda, 1 Tbsp Borax, & 2 Tbsp mild dish soap. This works on ceramic tiles so I'm thinking it should work for counter tops as well.

I use plain old Dawn and a non scratch scrubber and hot water. I have also used Simple Green on really hard greese.
I use baking soda and mixture of water and it worked for my oil stains on my tile
You would have to use a degreaser like a past of dawn dish soap let it soak and sit on it for at least a hour.
I would first try to use some cornstarch. Rub it in and let sit for several hours. The cornstarch will help to draw out the oils. Then use Dawn dish soap straight to break down remaining oils.
Have you tried baking soda and Dawn dish soap?
