It depends on the couch material and the chocolate but in general, freeze with ice (cube or pack) and chip it away. Then Spot Shot, carpet stain remover.
Using a plastic spoon, slowly remove any remaining chocolate from the affected area of the upholstery. Fill up the small container with 2 cups of cold water. Mix 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap into the water. Dampen a clean cloth using the solution you just mixed. Starting from the outer edge of the chocolate stain, slowly begin to remove chocolate from upholstery. The stain should start to lighten. Rinse the affected area by wiping it with a clean, damp cloth and wipe it with a dry towel to remove any moisture. Let dry.

"Grab that dull knife or spoon and lift away as much chocolate as you can. Unless your couch is silk (if it is, just call a professional), mix one tablespoon dish washing detergent with two cups cold water. Work from the outside of the stain toward the center sponging the solution with a clean white cloth. Use a dry cloth to blot away the moisture and repeat until the stain is gone. Do one final sponge with clear water and allow to air dry."
