3M has a double sided tape that's used for automotive decals etc. It should work for you! :)
Georgia....Try E6000...it just might work! Good luck
E-6100, with all the strength and adhesive properties of E-6000, is the thicker non-sag formulation that won't slump or run, allowing for maximum control. This translucent-clear adhesive is ideal for overhead and vertical use.
Georgia: I like the GEL Super Glue by Gorilla... I have used it on metal for metal reflectors!
Hi ! Use E6000 ! It is a great heavy duty glue ! You can find it in craft stores , Wal-Mart., even some grocery stores .
Cyanoacrylate (Super Glue).
I would use 2-oart epoxy glue for an exterior project, It comes in 2 syringes for the 2 parts, and mix on a piece of cardboard with a popsicle stick or a chop stick, then apply to the back of the reflector. Put some painters tape over it once stuck to the mailbox to give it time to cure.
This glue works well for metal/plastic: https://amzn.to/36y1Ga8
Hope this Helps! Jeremy - https://do-daddy.com
Home Depot sells reflector tape just peel and stick
How about putting a magnet on it
I use E6000 on everything. It holds very well.
Gorilla isn't always working for me as well
Gorilla Glue can be hit or miss. I've had better luck with epoxy adhesives like JB Weld or Loctite Epoxy or that one from meiboom.eu. They form a strong bond and work well for plastic-to-metal connections. Just make sure to prep the surfaces, apply evenly, and give it enough curing time. I hope your reflector sticks this time – I know the struggle!
What ever glue you use to fit your reflector will need to be taped in place until next day to allow it to cure!
I would use epoxy, it's strong and it's weatherproof.
E6000 is my go to for so much.
Hey Georgia: Here's a site that tells all about the different types of glue. Give it a peek and see what is best for your project:

Hi Georgia, hope this helps you. Epoxy seems to be the best all-around general adhesive that works on most surfaces, including plastic and metal. The epoxy will create a high-strength bond that is both impact-resistant and resistant to water, chemicals, and heat. Epoxy usually comes in two components, a hardener, and epoxy.
