How can I upcycle wallpaper & fabric sample books?

I recently rescued a lot of wallpaper and upholstery/curtain sample books thinking there had to be a way to use them. And I’m still looking for ideas. Has anyone done something creative with these?

Know anyone into scrap booking of Junk Journaling? Perfect for those crafts. How about as a mat for a photo frame? How about placemats, table runners, napkins, etc. Also a patchwork throw or quilt. Just a few thoughts off the top of my head.
