Hi Pat! I use tape wrapped around my fingers, sticky side out to remove loose fuzz. Pilled fabric on leggings will take a small battery operated tool that shaves it off. Good luck!
You could try a disposable women's razor shaver. If you put a piece of cardboard inside the legs so the material is taut and use the razor the pills come right off. Works on sweaters and polar fleece items like scarves and blankets too.

You could try a lint roller or there is a pill removing machine: https://rstyle.me/+Hs1rf4s1JMtCeVcOsOTy1A
Try sticky tape that works or a lint brush
Buy a good lint roller, the cheap ones don't work as well.

Nothing sticks to my leggings. The fabric is very high-quality, which does not require such techniques.
