We went straight to the wall instead of head boards for 3 out of our 6 beds. One has a large framed mirror mounted directly over the bed at a height where it doesn't interfere with the bed, bottom is about 5' off the floor. One has a large grapevine wreath with cotton blooms in the center of the bed and wooden cathedral frames on each side of the wreath. The 3rd has a large metal heart mounted on the wall that is scroll cut. I have a small metal plate with Ariel "make a splash" on 1 side and Belle "follow your heart" on the other for the 3yo's room.
You are most welcome! It was really easy to make (and I only needed a drill). You can paint it any colour you want too so it's easy to personalize it. Have fun!
