I would spray paint them use the correct paint for leather like material tape and cover the rest of the furniture well so the spray won’t go over on it
Hi Eve, I am in the same situation. I don't need to paint my entire couch but I have some wear marks that are forming and the top layer of color has worn away. SOOOO...I am planning to match the same color of the couch with a Sherwin Williams color. Go to the store and buy a sample of the closest 2 colors that blend with your couch. When you put the color card on the couch, the sides of the color card should almost disappear into the couch. that is when you know you have the right color/colors. Then You will want to get this:

This is a fabric medium that you can add to the latex paint so that it works with fabric. Follow the directions and mix the correct amount into your sample. You will want to touch up those areas with paint. Start out using a dry brush method, or your finger when you touch up. Start in an area where you don't notice first. When you have blended it like you like, move on to the more noticeable areas. Might take a couple of coats of dry brushing technique.
Hey, if brown markers work on wood furniture, why wouldn't this work....:). After I do my own couch, I will have to write a post on it! Good Luck!
