Is spray chalk paint or the brush-on kind more economical?

I'm on a tight budget but would like to paint my daughters bedroom furniture. Would I get more coverage from spray chalk or the canned brush on variety? Or would regular acrylic paint have more coverage? I'm trying to get by using only 1 or 2 cans for her 5' tall Chester drawers. Thanks for your help

I've found using a paint sprayer on furniture gives it a flawless finish, no brush strokes. I would guess spray paint would be the same though I've never tried spray chalk paint myself.
Spray paint wastes a lot of paint. Brush on will give you more bang for your buck, but it is more work intensive. What type of chalk paint are you looking at? There are several recipes online, the best one being calcium carbonate.
Brush will be cheaper for sure
Canned brush on the can doesn’t cover well and you will have to keep touching it up .

For complete coverage, paint it on. It will make the job easier and will be less expensive.
I would say painting with a brush, than spraying. The paint in the can will last you longer
I've seen some recipes online for DIY chalk paint. That might save you more money -- you can buy a larger quantity of paint, make your own, and you won't run out.
