I asked at an optomologist place one time and they told me not possible because smoothing out the scratch would change the lens prescription. If the scratch is near the top, maybe it can be done.
Really can't. You can try to make them less noticeable. Apply auto paste wax. Let it haze over then buff with a clean soft cloth.
Hi Kathy, here is a video that may help you out
My optical company says you can't especially with all the protection that we have on the lens
Once there's a scratch, unfortunately it's there for good.
Here's a post that might help - http://www.glassescrafter.com/information/remove-scratches-on-eyeglasses.html
Did you ask where you bought them? Some lens have scratch coverage for a specific period of time after purchase. I used to make sure that the glasses my oldest two had that coverage. Worth checking.
My optometrist said a scratch cannot be fixed. You can try and have just the scratched lense replaced.
My eye clinic lets you bring in your existing glasses for a polish and screw tightening free of charge, and it only takes a very short visit while you wait. Check with your eye doc.
You can’t the lenses are eather no scratch or scratch sounds like there scratchable.
