Cayenne pepper. Cayenne pepper is finely-ground red pepper.
Animals get a snootful of this hot pepper and sneeze, but it doesn't hurt them. It doesn't hurt your plants either. It also helps repel armadillos. (But not squirrels!)
I still use cayenne pepper to keep my cats out of my houseplants.
Ideally give your girl a place of her own to be so she'll stay out of the flower beds. If she's done her business in them, that will make it harder as the scent will lure her back.
Hello Jenna,
Have you considered a fence around the border? Best wishes
Keep your dog tethered to an area which is ok with you, other than that, take the dog for walks. Great exercise for all involved.
