You could try salt and lemon juice as described in this article. Wishing you the best.
I do any overnight soak. Mix bleach and baking soda together into a paste. Apply to the sink before going to bed. The next morning rinse and that should take care of it.
How do you remove ink pen from vinyl
Hi MGC. I recommend using a Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser. I use them for all kinds of stains. Just get it wet and squeeze most of the water back out. Then scrub the stain with it. You should see immediate results.
Try toothpaste! Don't laugh, sailors use it to keep their white hats clean. My daughter rented a place where someone had let their child draw on the shower unit with permanent marker. She tried all sorts to remove it. Along came mum (that's me) & rubbed on some toothpaste, let it sit a few minutes, then cleaned off with a spongy scourer (the non abrasive kind of toothpaste and scourer). I didn't tell her at first, just waited for her to notice, which she did on her next visit to the bathroom!
I use toothpaste to clean lots of stubborn marks.
Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If stubborn, use a scouring stick to scrub.
Do not use a magic eraser as it will scratch the sink. It looks like a rust stain, and I would use Rustoleum rust remover or Navel Jelly. If that does not work use KrudKutter or a cleaner degreaser from the auto store.
You could always use WD-40, that's pretty good too............Hope all goes well for you.
Hi this is Peggy. I would try using iron out ( be careful it smells terrible, but great for cleaning rust). Or you could fill your sink with hot water and bleach.
My favorite way to remove stains like that is by using a product from Shaklee called Scour Off...it's a magical cleaner that works overtime! http://gatheredinthekitchen.com/shaklee-scour-absolute-favorite-cleaner/
