Hi Laura, they make gorgeous vertical gardens - here's an example - https://acraftymix.com/blog/old-dvd-cases/. You can also cover them with pretty fabric or paper and use them as storage for beads, ribbons, paper etc.
You can "hide" things in them. They also are great for making sturdy, portable first aid kits and sewing kits. You can stash under the seat of your car easily. You can even do a car cleaning kit for small spills or window clean up.
I use them to hold small craft items and cover the outside with Contact and a label..........Use them for safe boxes (Money jewels or watch at side of bed) etc.

Hi Laura. You could use an empty VHS tape case to hold the wires and plugs necessary for TV, cable, stereo equipment, etc.

The tape, tied around plants, is thought to scare off cats as they think it's water. I've not tried this, only seen it on several sites.
