Hi Heidi... hope this helps... https://www.realsimple.com/home-organizing/cleaning/laundry/fold-fitted-sheet
I think the easiest way to learn to do this is in person from someone else or to watch a video. Since I can't help you in person, I suggest this video for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15PWtE2Yrqs
Hi Heidi,
I watched both videos to see if that's how I fold sheets. ;) Basically it is except that I like to put all the pieces for each bed in one "package". After folding the bottom sheet and laying it on the bed, I fold the top sheet and put that underneath the fitted sheet. Then I fold the pillowcases in half (once or twice, depending on size) and lay them flat on top of both sheets. At that point you can fold everything together in a neat "package" and have all of the sheet & pillowcases together. You can fold in thirds as shown in the video or in half twice if that fits better where you store your bedding. I hope this helps. Wishing you the best.

Folding sheets and storing bedsheets can be a frustrating situation.

Sheets are easiest to fold if immediately taken out of the dryer when the cycle stops. If left inside to sit for a while, they will be harder to fold, as the fibres are 'locked' into position in the shape of the wrinkles once the sheet cools down.
I fold my fitted sheet corner to corner, tucking them inside each other. Once I have it to the point there is only 1 fitted corner I lay it down. Then I fold the flat sheet to fit about the same size and lay on top of the fitted. Then the 2 pillow cases folded in 1/3 lain on that. Then fold twice, once lengthwise the other side to side. All sheets and pillow cases in 1 pile. If I were really ambitious I would keep 1 pillow case and put the other pieces inside it. But I don't care if my sheets are folded pretty, just together and not a mess.
Also, I only fold them when they are hot out of the dryer. I can't stand folding cold clothes or linens.

Hi there Heidi,
Flat sheets fold in half by holding width corners to corners. Fold in half again, then fold in half across until you have a shape you can fit in storage. With fitted sheets. tuck in box edges and fold in the same way as flat sheets. There is no right or wrong way, just your way!

I just redid my entire linen closet and wrestled with the sheets myself. I found that having a large flat surface like my bed to work on made it easier. I tucked the corners into one another, smoothed them down with some pressure and then folded the sheet as I normally would.
