In the full video below I show how to make a sunflower wreath with 6-inch x 10-yard rolls of burlap. A 5.5-inch burlap can also be used just as easily for this method. The finished size of this wreath is about 21 inches.

Materials needed for flower:

  • Cutting Mat
  • Rotary Cutter
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Scissors
  • 10 inch box wire wreath frame
  • 6 inch burlap of your choice

For the flower as shown, I used:

  • 25 pieces of apple green, cut 6x9 inches
  • 55 pieces of ivory, cut into 6x6 inch squares

  1. Outer ring: 25 apple green pieces
  2. 2nd ring in: 20 ivory pieces
  3. 3rd ring in: 20 ivory pieces
  4. center ring: 15 ivory pieces

Braided center - 1 roll of 2.5 inch by 10-yard roll of burlap ribbon. I cut the ribbon into 3 equal strips of 120 inches each.

(Video for my deco mesh braided center is also on YouTube- just use the burlap measurements listed above)
