Yes, Sally, it will adhere to wood. Depending on the roughness of the wood, it will either adhere very well or not so much. If you later decide you want it to be permanently adhered you can add a clear coat of poly.
Hi Sally, it should but it will depend on the coarseness of the wood. If it is a laminated pine or something smooth such as that, it should have no problem. If it is a rough, unfinished wood like pine or spruce it may stick initially but then fall off fairly quickly as it will not have enough smooth surface to adhere too. Hope that helps a little.
