Put food coloring in to.emulsion paint how mix food coloring emulsion paint
I actually tried this last spring. It took A LOT of food coloring to add just a little color but you can do it. I added a sealer after painting and that seemed to help lock the color in.
You can use acrylic craft paints as long as your paint is water based. How much you need to add depends on how much of a color change you want to make. If you need to add a lot of acrylic, you're better off getting new paint in the color you really want. Whether the additions get you what you want depends on your eye for color.
You could always add sample pot! or ask at the paint counter if they will mix the colour you want. Take a sample of the colour with you. Best wishes

Hi there, emulsion paint is water based, so you can just add your food coloring and mix well.
Just pour it in and stir your paint until you achieve the tint you require. Enjoy!
