How can I repair click 'n lock tile?
We recently remodeled our kitchen and put down click n lock vinyl. We had gutted the kitchen so the flooring went down before see put in appliances. In the working triangle of the floor is falling apart chunks are coming out and now my beautiful floor has a throw rug to cover it. How can I repair it without regutting my whole kitchen.
Deb

We are looking at trying these ideas. Thanks tons
I would go back and buy replacement sections. There are tools to help with this. One I have actually attaches with suction to move them.

It sounds like something is wrong with the vinyl. I would contact the company who made the vinyl or go back to the store where you purchased it.
You may have to take out the flooring from one end all the way to the middle to fix it. Sounds like there is a buckle in the flooring.
What did you do to ensure that the underfloor was level before installing the new vinyl?
Oh no Deb, so sorry to hear that. It's very frustrating and sad. Unfortunately it seems your floor may not have been level, which is why it's coming apart. The vinyl will need to be lift so the floor underneath can be fixed. So sorry.
Following on what Dee had to say, your floor requires an expansion joint around the perimeter. Having appliances and/or cabinets and islands on the flooring does not allow for contraction and expansion, especially if that working area is getting wet. You may need to cut out a 1/4 inch wide section all along the cabinets and appliances and cover it with the cabinet toe kick or a quarter round shoe moulding after you have replaced the damaged pieces.
So sorry to hear that. Sounds like its not leveled. Buy a level and go around finding where its not level and redo those sections.
