I saw on a site about making a name with pushpins cork & string, any idea how to do this?
Hi Dee, here's a youtube tutorial, what fun! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4dpibii6Ng
Perhaps this project will give you some helpful hints:
They used nails in wood but you can use push pins in cork.
Hi Dee, below is a video showing how to do string art with small nails, but you could use cork and push pins as a substitute. You can easily make your ""pattern" name on your computer and select the font and size of your choice. Print it out and then use to figure out your push pin placement. Or you can always draw the name design free-hand. Have fun!
Dee: hope this helps!
Don't know this project, but i would right the name using marker pen on the cork base and then secure the string with a pushpin at the beginning of the first letter and then proceed along the letters in the same vane until you finish off with a pushpin. Hope that helps.
