See the possibilities of the simplest thrift store glass vases transformed with twine into ‘farmhouse style vases’. You can find small glass vases inexpensively at the thrift store, and transform them with twine, charms and faux greens. They'll be the star of your dining table!

First, gather some small glass vases from your home or the thrift store. My vases only cost $2.50 total at the local thrift store.

Next, wrap twine around the indent of the vases. You'll want to wrap multiple times to achieve a rustic farmhouse effect.

It's a lovely idea to add charms to the vase by threading them through the twine. I found these jewelry charms on Amazon (link is on my blog post). The vases would also make great housewarming or hostess gifts when you personalize them this way.

Finally, place some faux greens inside the vases (or real flowers or greens) for a farmhouse look. I chose faux Lamb's ears for my vases.

Group the vases together for the biggest impact. Enjoy!
