How do I protect the carpet in a craft room?
I do a lot of canvas and 3D object painting projects such as acrylic paint pouring and varnishing. I am ready to transform a room into a craft room but it has carpet. I need to protect the carpet, in a neat way that won't break the bank. I'd like this to cover approximately 3' around my craft table. Any idea out there?

Hmmm, this is a good question. A question that needs answering is how large is your craft table, these are just taking a chance that something here might work.

Also Amazon has a variety of runners in varying lengths and widths you could look at .
If nothing here works for your carpet protector here you might try a diy store and see what they can do with plexiglass. Best to you.
I use the hard clear plastic mats. Years ago they were used for office chairs on carpets. You can buy the as larger mats now. They work great.
What about using a painter's drop cloth? You could even paint/decorate it to match your craft room.
They sell sink and toilet porcelain repair kits at hardware stores and online.
Cardboard and box tape. That is how i saved my carpet from 12 puppys. Just may have to change it more often
Since I can’t get a painter’s tarp to “stay in place”, maybe the cardboard on top of it?
a Rubber mat ?A canvas paint cloth you could even draw on it? Or what about checking for a sheet of cork.? Good Luck.
What about those rubbery mats that fit together like puzzle pieces? They come in lots of colors!
