Which sealant works well with acrylic paint?

I wanted to paint the inner side of my bedroom door with acrylic craft paint, just because its gonna be a artwork painting type thing rather than just one solid color and getting acrylic latex paint for that many colors would be tedious and expensive. Anyways what sealant would you recommend to prevent scratches and the paint wearing down?

I have used an oil based polyurethane over acrylic paint many times to protect my projects. I have never had an issue.
Polycrylic is another choice. It's water-based and can be used indoors.
Clear glossys spray works wonderfully on craft acrylic
You’ll want to do several top coats to keep it glossy and not wearing down.
Kylie: you can get the little bottles of paint at Michaels or Walmart. I would merely seal with polyurethane. Easy peasy. (I'd probably not use spray... due to possible drips.)
Polyurethane. Minwax makes small cans in matte, satin and shiny.
Water based polyurethane to seal it. Does not yellow. Oil based has a yellow cast to it and does yellow over time.
Water-based polyurethane is the best choice. It won't yellow.
oil based polyurethane will yellow your paint, use a spray polycrylic or spray Lacquer. Comes in many finishes from Matt to High Gloss. Spray light even coats probably 3-4 for good protection.
