Time to give a tired office space some stylish decor. This space is in the corner of the toy room which is all done in black and white. I put my desk in here so I can do some work and still be with the kids.

This was the area before. Just a plain wall with the desk put in. I wanted it to look stylish but still be functional

I bought 2 wire baskets which are actually for a bathroom (that’s why they have the suckers on them) But I took the suckers off so I could put them on the wall

I also bought one wire memo board to match the two baskets

I measure out where I wanted anything to go and then I used picture hooks for the baskets and the memo boards and just a plain headed nail for the clock

I started with the baskets. Which I put in place. They just needed one picture hook each in the middle but you could use 2 (one on each end) if you wanted to put something heavier in them

Next was the memo board. Again, just one picture hook was fine. But you could use 2.

I then dressed each piece with prints and frames. I like the Chanel look so that’s the style I went for. All monochrome to keep in with the kids room

Then the clock was put in position and the wall was finished. The perfect use of fashion and function

I then dressed the rest of the area with accessories and books I currently had already to give it a sleek office look

It’s now a space I’m proud to sit in while keeping an eye on the kids at the same time

Love how functional this is yet beautiful at the same time.

I like how it looks, you definitely have good taste. But some details bother me. The clock placed right in front of a sitting person is rather a distracting factor. And the home fragrance is too close to a working space. You might like the smell at first, but it gets really annoying after 15 mins (at least I can't stand it when a fragrance's too close to me). But the rest is neat. Your project reminds me of coworking places. Just check these NY coworking spaces https://osdoro.com/us/coworking-space-nyc/. This is how all offices should look. Dull concrete boxes do not dispose of productive work.
