This was for our master bedroom in the guest house, I have seen images floating around and really wanted to do it!

I chose 4 different colors - light grey, dark grey, black and gold.

Took me about 2 days (one night about 2 hours to tape, the other day to paint and let dry and put more coats as needed), but could really be done in a couple of hours if you wanted to go straight through and around $40 in materials (we got leftover grey paints from previous jobs)

Let's get started on how to paint an accent wall.

Start by taping up all the sides of the wall -- that way paint won't bleed into the sides.

Then really its up to you, how you want to create the geometric shapes.

Work your way through the wall with the blue tape.

And once you are done, look at the shape of the walls -- this is the time if you'd like to trim off some of the blue tape to make a triangle larger or smaller -- or if you wanted to split a bigger shape into 2 smaller shape.

Once you are done, just start painting the shapes -- and let dry.

P.S - I find that gold paint needs about 4-5 coats to make them look nice.

Peel off all the blue tape.

This is the "semi-finished" result! I added 2 LED bird lights for each side of the bed, and added trim to the door and baseboards.

Now all that's left is to add furniture xD

Here is the finished look :D
