If one of the sides/railings comes out, perhaps you could repurpose it into a bench or daybed.
You could use the sides for hanging magazines. Turn the side onto it's end, attach to the wall. Then slip magazines over the dowels, half on either side.
Or remove one side only, then push the crib up against the wall. Cover the plywood base (the mattress sits on) with paint or mac tac or something similar.
Pull up a couple of kids chairs and they could use it as a craft area!
Upcycle to a storage bench with hinged seating.

There are so many cute ideas here on Hometalk. I think this one is unique:https://www.hometalk.com/diy/bedroom/furniture/crib-turned-craft-station-148320

Hi Linda. The springs would make great trellis for tomatoes and other plants that vine. The rails of the crib would make a great pot and pan rack. Suspend the crib rails from the ceiling in your kitchen. Use S hooks to attach the pot and pans.
Crib railing panels make sturdy laundry drying racks.
Also good for childrens' books or fabric storage.

I think my favorite repurpose I've seen is into a daybed for an office that could be used as a guest bedroom. Here is a cute one they actually used out on their front porch: https://www.2littlehooligans.com/2011/10/21/baby-crib-turned-front-porch-daybed/
I just saw this project here on Hometalk - someone made a porch swing out of a baby crib.
