How do I remove spray paint from a wooden bowl?
I spray painted a wood bowl and now I don't like the color. Is there a way to remove the paint without hurting the finish? If not, what is the best way to remove the paint?

Hi Deb Citra-Strip is a "natural" paint stripper that will remove the paint no problem.
I agree. Citristrip is the best to use. Made to remove many layers of paint. If you plan to repaint you can just lightly sand with 220 grit sandpaper. Then paint
Use a mild paint stripper. You might also try mineral spirits. Either way, don't leave on for very long or it will penetrate beyond the paint.
If you used spray paint you could just sand enough to dull it down and then repaint in a different color. Depending on the first color you tried you might want to prime in between coats with a spray primer. The key will be light coats of spray paint. I don't think you would be able to remove the paint using stripper and not do damage to the original finish on the bowl.
sanding will be the only option I am afraid
No matter what you use, the finish will be affected. I would use a product called Citristrip to remove the paint and the refinish.
I have never done it before, but you might try this if one of the above suggestions doesn't work. https://www.hunker.com/13415951/how-to-remove-spray-paint-from-wood
Try a razor blade
Vinegar or sandpaper should work.
Do you want to paint it a different color or do you want it back to its original wood? If you want the wood back, you'll have to sand off the paint :(
You could sand it off or just repaint it something else
Maybe use some kind of paint stripper :)
you have to be careful what you use on it to remove the paint and what paint you use as well if it is something you will be using for food -https://www.oola.com/life-at-home/2456287/how-to-easily-remove-spray-paint-from-almost-any-surface/
