what can I use for a resin mold release if I don't have money for more supplies? Thanks

It might depend on what you're casting so a little online research might help out. You could try Vaseline, but again, it might depend and you should test first if you can.

Vegetable oils such as the types used for cooking are suitable mold releaseagents as well and can be applied by rubbing the oil into the mold with a paper towel. Mineral oil can be used in the same way.

Here's a good discussion on this topic. It depends on the type of resin you're using at the type of mold. Generally, properly cured resin should come out of a silicone mold okay. If it's not coming out, you might need to figure out if something is going wrong with your resin.

Thank you all, I wasn't sure if you could regular oil with resin. most of my things do slip right out, sometimes I use unconventional molds.
