I have used short shutters for my bottom kitchen cabinet doors, painted them a beautiful blue. Where the louvers were, I replaced that area with a seascape scene...lighthouses, surf, rocky shores...from cloth remnants.
If the same size. Make a screen or by hinging them together. Make them into a planter or a blanket box. Use them as doors for a cupboard etc.............Enjoy!
