Can I lay concrete over wood floors?

Hello! I don't think it would be a good idea to put concrete over wood flooring. The concrete would have to be fairly thick so it wouldn't crack. That would raise your floor level and create some issues plus the weight of the concrete. Since this is a small bathroom consider shopping around for new flooring that mimics concrete and remove the wood flooring.

Far better to use a Vinyl/ tile etc to give you the industrial look. It could so easily go horribly wrong and look a mess! The other alternative will be cleaner and quicker and maybe less expensive, especially if you manage to pick up an off cut or end of line.......Best wishes.

Wood fluctuates so I would be worried that your concrete might crack over time as the wood moves below it.

It would have to be so thick to not crack it would cause lots of issues. Have you considered just painting your floors to look like concrete?

Use a latex modified leveling cement.

Keep in mind that putting any additional layer of floor covering over an existing covered floor, will adversely affect the transition pieces that connect to any adjoining rooms. As well, any doors that open over the floor may need to be shortened to accommodate the increase in new floor height.
