There is a product called Dynatrap. It runs by electricity, attracts bugs with warmth and blue light then sucks them in by vacuum to a container. For indoors or out. Not like the bug zappers that kill with electricity and scatter bugs on the ground.
Check your screens for any openings. Check caulking around doors and windows. Check your door sweeps to keep bugs from coming under exterior doors. I switched to a yellow bulb on my front porch light because the white light bulbs attracted so many bugs. I was recently reading that a sprayed layer of WD40 discourages bugs. I use diatomaceous earth around the interior of the exterior walls and doorways and it's very effective for crawling bugs. Personally, I dislike fly strips, but, they do work for flying bugs. They are super sticky, so put them where you won't walk into them. Limit how long exterior doors are open. Good luck!
If you're having trouble with mosquitoes when you're on an outdoor patio or something like that, I find that citronella candles work well. Also make sure you don't have any standing water in your yard.

Natural grass also provides an appealing spot for scarab beetles, such as June bugs and Japanese beetles, that love to lay their eggs in grass lawns.
These eggs then turn into very undesirable grubs that can damage your grass and get into your vegetable garden, which then turn into more beetles to eat your plants, drive your guests crazy and lay more eggs.
Some insects are so small, they are still able to come through 'standard' window screen mesh. You may need to upgrade your window screens with a mesh that is denser and has a tighter weave. It is also important to ensure that any screens are tightly fitted, with no gaps in between the framing and the house.

Screens need to be intact-no rips or tears, keep the doors closed as much as possible and plan your in and out traffic to keep exposure down. Check your house for cracks and crevices where bugs can enter and block them with foam.
If you have standing water anywhere near your house you might want to dump that, it is a draw for mosquitoes. Be sure your gutters are cleaned out.
The lights on in the house will also draw insects, especially flying ones. Yellow outside lights will not draw insects as much as a white one.
