DIY Hand Sanitizer for Winter
Hi Helen - The CDC recommends alcohol in hand sanitizer, however it's not always appropriate for some folks. This one is made without alcohol if that is an option for you. It's super easy and takes approximately 30 seconds to make. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

2/3 cup 99% isopropol alcohol
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
Stir
Hi Helen, all you need is rubbing alcohol (99 percent alcohol volume) aloe vera gel and an essential oil. Lavender, eucalyptus and tea tree oil are both good choices. Mix 1 part aloe vera and 2 parts rubbing alcohol and then add a few drops of your essential oil of choice. If you prefer your hand sanitizer thicker you can add more aloe vera gel.
1/3 cup aloe vera gel (available at most drugstores)
2/3 cup 99% rubbing alcohol ((isopropyl alcohol)

My Dollar Trees have had 70% alcohol on the shelves for a couple of months & at that price, it’s ok.
If I find aloe gel there, it’s probably not 100%, but will let you know what I find.
I buy baby wipes there and let them dry out a bit and then replace the evaporated water with alcohol.
