Happy Easter Sign

I love to do quick and easy projects! Today I will use wax to highlight this dollar store wood sign. Let's get started!

The materials you will need are:

white paint and brush

dark wax by Annie Sloan

wood sign

moss

hot glue gun and sticks

white Pom Pom

Open the wax up and use a soft paint brush to go around all the edges of the sign.

Next, you’ll use towel and rub it in. This will give a highlight effect as well as an aged look.

Next, I’ll use my glue gun to go around the bunny patting my moss on and then I'll fill in the rest of the bunny with the moss.

Then I trim around it and thin it out to give it a nice groomed look.

I also hot glued a white pom pom as the tail.

Here it is ready to hang. What do you think? I like trying different products out. How about you? This was easy and a fun way to age it.

This is another easy project to add to your Easter decor and be sure to check out my tutorial on the chalk couture wooden eggs.
