You find a scrapbook paper, napkin or fabric you like and then put mod podge on the bottle first, then apply the product you are using to cover it. Then mod podge over it again and it will dry clear. Here are more ideas

Transforming an Everyday Glass Bottle Into a Conversation Piece.
Hi Anne, an almond milk bottle would make you a pretty vase. I would head to a Dollar store and find a napkin or other printed tissue that you especially like. Cut out the design(s) on it you want on the vase. Paint the vase with Mod Podge, press the tissue on, and cover the tissue with Mod Podge again. You may want to let it dry and apply a second coat over the design tissue again. I am thinking spring flowers/roses, especially pink would be lovely. Any geometric design or colors that go with your home decor would be great. Hope this helps!
My sister modge podged with cheetah patterned paper, so I’m guessing anything you like that isn’t too heavy. Modge Podge can also be used. With acrylic paints. Metallics are fun, dilute as directed and have a go. Totally your colors and design.
Thanks so much! I want to do this with my grandson while we are stuck at the house. That way we can pick our daffodils as well
