DIY Modern Easter Art

If you haven't pulled out your Easter decorations yet, now is the time. I like finding new ways to use old decorations and I had these little foam carrots that I knew I could do something with. With just a few items, I was able to turn these carrots into a new piece of Modern Easter home décor.

These are the little foam carrots I have. You can use eggs, bunnies or anything else you have on hand for this project.

I used craft paint to paint the carrots a color block style, but you can paint them with stripes, polka dots, or anything else you can think of.

Let the paint dry completely.

I used a painted wood sign for this. You can use a canvas or even a metal sign.

I added glue to my carrots and started placing on my sign.

I added a few rows of carrots for my art, but you can get as creative as you want with the layout of your decorations.

Isn't this cute? I love how easy this was to make and a great way to repurpose old decorations.

I have lots of Easter crafts on the blog if you are still looking for more fun ideas.

Cute idea thank you for sharing. If people cannot find these small carrots, you can make them with paper clay or polymer clay easily and use green basket filler for the carrot tops. Another idea is to glue a brooch pin to the back of the carrot and use as a lapel pin.
