You can buy garage storage shelves at hard ware stores or amazon
Hi Shela, there are lots of great garage shelves ideas here:
There's some great ideas in this Hometalk post
I like metal shelving. It's quick and easy to put together, It's adjustable and you can label the shelves with magnetic vent covers cut into strips and written on with a sharpie.
Shelva: maybe this will help
You've got great advice and links here, the only thing I can possibly add is to make sure those shelves are thick and sturdy. Items stored in garages are often heavy and bulky and you don't want shelves coming down because items that are too heavy were put on them. (Ask me how I know)

Here is one way: https://www.hometalk.com/30868263/how-to
Hi Shela: I have made shelving for my garage and it's pretty easy:) I got some brackets from the home improvement store (they come in different lengths) and some boards. Depending on how wide your shelving is, that's how long your brackets should be. I have 10" shelving all along one wall. The only thing you need to do is to have enough brackets, at least one for every 2 studs, for stability. And, your boards for the shelving should be at the very least 1/2" thick. Then, use at least 1 1/2" long screws to secure the bracket to the stud at all 3 places where there are screw holes. And, screw the front of the shelf to the holes that are there, using shorter screws. Get brackets that are sturdy and not able to bend if you push on them. They are a couple of dollars each. Don't scrimp on them, your stuff depends on them :) Good luck

Strong brackets and scaffold boards make good shelves.................!
I would build them out of 2 x4.. for sure much better then metal
Stainless steel shelves , they are adjustable and can accommodate your labeled storage containers. Our shelf units have wheels with brakes so they can be moved if need be.
There are loads of ways to do this and it's going to depend on what you're storing, what space is available, and how you use your garage. Try the search bar at the top left, no doubt a zillion ideas will pop up.
