Joise: Soak overbite in Oxiclean! (Turn sheets a couple of times during this process)
Here's a few ways!

Hi Josie, old stains will be more tricky to get out because they are set in. Here's a link I hope helps

If it's been washed and dried already, the stain may be set by the heat of the dryer and/or washing water. If the sheets are cotton, you could try over-dyeing the whole thing a darker color.
Shout. It really works. (You could add a little Clorox.) I sprayed Shout on the spots on my white down comforter thoroughly then washed the comforter in my washing machine and put it in the dryer. The dryer moved a little trying to dry the comforter but it was okay. Off balance. Came out perfect.
Here you go, in case one tip doesn't work, there are several ideas: https://www.nectarsleep.com/posts/how-to-get-blood-out-of-sheets/
Try oxiclean! It removed red wine from a white sweater of mine!
Use oxiclean or make your own: https://www.craftylittlegnome.com/homemade-oxiclean-recipe/

Peroxide
Peroxide usually works
This tutorial on how to remove blood stains may help.
Have you tried pouring peroxide on the stains? That usually works for me.
After try all stain products finally found at the 99 store White Rain moisture shampoo clear and active botanicals and I do use a bit of Borax in the sink with hot water or warm shampoo and Borax and I first put some shampoo right on the wet spot and rub in than soak and if it didn't come out than use Shout. I love this on hubby's very dirty work jeans, collar stains, Ketchup, whatever just works like magic. Put in washer after soaking and I try to get the stain quickly but has taken blood out of sheets
Hi Josie, peroxide removes blood (I am a retired R,N, and have used this many times). You can put on full strength. Good luck and stay well.
Hydrogen peroxide soaking worked well for my medical garments.
Here is a helpful video if it is dried: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BggzwCO1idQ
