DIY Personalized Doormat
A cheerful door mat is essential for a warm welcome into any home. And, personalized welcome mats are even better! Tulip® ColorShot makes it super easy to create a welcome mat all your own.
First, take your stencil/pattern, and place it on the mat to confirm exact placement. Your design can be anything you want! Use your last name, a funny saying or symbol. That’s what makes it your own!
Using the ColorShot color(s) of your choice, begin spraying into the stencil openings. A few light coats will provide better results than one heavy coat. Let dry between coats.
We decided to kick it up a notch and create a two-tone ombré look. Feel free to let those creative juices flow and use as many or as few colors as you’d like.
Once you’ve colored the mat to your liking, remove the stencil. Let the mat dry for 1 hour before putting it on display.
