Unfortunately lots of shelves are empty.

If you can find bleach it will work for disinfecting.

Hello Aemrphy, the shelves are bare of rubbing alcohol as well, they both kill the Covid 19 virus, people are stocked up on these and antibacterial wipes, and there is nothing to be found, sorry, maybe you can get it online. It is like this everywhere, people started hoarding instead of shopping normally.

Lysol spray if you can find it. Vodka with a 40% or better alcohol content.

if you order online I am finding that it is May before it will be delivered! just look each time you go to the grocery store but you could use bleach or Lysol cleaner as well (although they too are hard to find)

The other thing to do is ask when the next delivery is

  • Welcome to my world. I am closing in on week 8 of lockdown with another 6 or so to go. 5 hour wait to get into Costco or Sam's Club, markets and any store that sold any food or cleaning agents (including gas station mini marts and truck stops, trust me in the beginning I stoped at any store open) all stripped bare, online ordering will be here in June at the earliest. Since I am a caregiver, I have to be really careful. I sucked it up and drove 3 hours one way to a much less densely populated area to get supplies. My brother drove from CA to Wyoming to get supplies. If you hop onto Nextdoor.com, people are bartering for anything from toilet tissue, meat, poultry, fish and pork to dairy products to produce to toothpaste and shampoo. Or if you are in a less densely populated area, be at the store the minute it opens every day to get whatever they have placed on the shelves overnight. Good luck!
