You can also try auto compound polish. But if the scratch is deep there is basically nothing you can do to fix it. Look at the warranty on your cooktop since you stated it was new. See if they would be willing to fix it for you.

I am not familiar with ceramic cook tops. With ceramic tile you could fill with Bondi patch and do a paint finish to match the tile. Not sure how that will work with heat. I'd call the manufacturer to get their suggestions. Sorry this happened. Good luck.

Try contacting the company,whether or not it is still under warranty. They have a hot line with technical help standing by and they can best advise you on what to do, or not do. Your warranty could be voided if the wrong steps are taken.

Deep scratches you can feel aren’t coming out🥴My husband scratched mine all the YouTube buffing in the world won’t help. It only works on the superficial surface scratches. It’s 17 years old and it was in immaculate condition. Cleaning it the other night after cooking I noticed spots that are not scratches but where it’s worn off? Sigh.
