Here you go:
Depends on what size planter you wish to make, but a guide would be to find am item you could use as your outside mould then use cooking oil to grease it or use polythene to allow you to be able to remove concrete when cured. Then find another item to be able to use as the size of planting area eventually. Make sure the area in between the to moulds is not too narrow you cant get the concrete in or too wide the concrete will be too thick and heavy to transport. Next grease or enclose inner mould with polythene. Then mix and lay in the outer mould concrete to form base, then add inner mould and weight so does not lift when adding concrete to the sides. Poke down to settle the concrete so there are no air pockets. When full, smooth off top and leave for about a week to cure enough for you to remove from mould and leave to completely dry. Have fun!
