Add wheels to overnight bag?
It's just a small, typical size over night bag approx. 20" L, 10" W, 17 high, but is amazingly heavy when full. I'd like to add wheels to one end without it looking like a cheesy DIY job. I'm thinking 2 small, threaded, with a nut on the end caster wheels punched through the bottom. So, from the outside all that would be visible are the wheels and inside would be the screw and nut. I'm concerned about the wheels falling off or ripping through the bottom. The bottom is just a flimsy removable piece of plastic
I am not very handy and cannot drill holes or anything like that.

Add Wheels to Your Luggage!
https://www.instructables.com/id/Add-wheels-to-your-luggage!/
Cut a metal plate slightly smaller than the bottom side of your luggage. Take a castor, place it on the metal plate and use a felt-tipped marker to place marks on the metal for where to drill the holes. Place additional marks on the edges; you can drill four extra holes here, one in each corner, for extra stability.
Drill holes on your marks. The hole you drill should be the same size as the bolts you have. If you drill the hole too big they will not fit. Start off drilling the hole smaller, and gradually get bigger; this way you can watch the hole enlarge to ensure it's not too big.
Place marks on your luggage with a felt marker to show where you want the metal plate to line up on the bottom of your luggage. Place grommets over the marks that you drew for the holes. The grommets will add extra stability for your bolts. Use a hole puncher to punch holes in the marked spaces on your luggage, place a grommet on the other side, and hammer the two pieces of the grommet together.
Line up the wheels over the holes you made and bolt them;
I bought a small luggage cart for mine, as an alternative. Stay safe!

From past experience buying wheels they are quite expensive. It would be cheaper to buy a new bag with wheels on it.
Hello there,
Maybe in this case a bag carrier would be preferable...........Or a new bag. Doesn't
sound as though the bag you have would tolerate being mucked about, sounds to flimsy. Sorry It is not better news...................Maybe a second hand bag from eBay??
