Repair swing set seating?

Considering all the use a swing set gets maybe it would be better to replace the seat with a new one instead of patching up the old one. Go to amazon and you should find over a 100 places that sell all types of seats (both designs and colors).

What kind of swing set seating do you have?

Is it the springs or did the seat just fall apart?

Is your porch swing made from mesh? Wood? Plastic?

I'm not sure what you need to repair on the seat, but we purchased a new seat for the swing set when it cracked. There are sold online.

If it is a swing like a child uses, I would replace it for safety reasons. If it is a cushioned couch type swing, depending on what is damaged, there should be replacement parts or repair kits. Tape and a slipcover can cover a fabric cushion hole or tear. Good luck and stay well!

Is it from UV damage or water damage or sat in too much?

Whatever caused the failure may not be able to be patched.
