I have an essential diffusers and simply add my favorite essential oils to that. Nice that you can set the timer on these and they turn themselves off when the time in up or when they run out of water. Another nice feature is that they add moisture to the air. Both have lights with many different colors if you need a night light of sorts.

The other thing that I do is to add 1/4 of fabric softener in a spray bottle and top off with water. This makes a nice and cheap way to freshen your home and not worry about staining fabric. And it smells so good!

Hello it might depend on your odors present. We use the plug-in oil fragrance fresheners. If it’s in the carpeting -like after using the fireplace we like to use the sprinkle on the carpet powder for effective smoke removal.

I use essential oils as well. Lavender is also my favorite :)

Mix the following ingredients together in a spray bottle

1. 3/4 cup water.

2. 2 tablespoons vodka, rubbing alcohol, or real vanilla extract.

3. 4 drops tea tree essential oil.

4. 8 drops lemon essential oil.

5. 6 drops eucalyptus essential oil.

Spray in the air, repeat if necessary. Use a fine mist on the sprayer.

I like a natural solution, so I boil a few cinnamon sticks and the whole house smells amazing.
