With Mother's Day fast approaching, I wanted to make a cute gift topper that would double as décor and definitely pulled it off. I kept going back and forth with a few different ideas, but ended up making these adorable felt nesting dolls and they are so cute! They are super easy to make and look great on a gift or hanging around the house.

This craft is a great way to use up those scrap felt pieces!

Print out the nesting doll printable on my blog post. Cut out the nesting doll and trace pieces onto felt. Cut out the felt pieces. You'll need two "body" pieces, one for the front and one for the back.

When all your pieces are cut out, it's time to layer them and stitch together.

When all the pieces of felt are stitched together, add decorations, like flowers, leaves, swirls or anything else you'd like.

Place the front and back pieces together and stitch together.

Add Polyfill before you stitch the doll closed.

Make sure to add a piece for hanging and you are all done! I made these for the 4 Grandma's in our lives and had fun picking out colors for each one and customizing them. I added some sequins to one of my dolls, but you can add beads, buttons or other decorations you have at home.

I love how these turned out. They are so cute and can be hung anywhere for some fun & colorful décor!
