If you have a deck of cards here’s a game I used to play with my grandmother. Take the deck and lay them out face down. Now you take turns flipping two cards trying to find a pair. It requires memory skills as each player tries to remember the location of a matching card to match their first card flipped. If you don’t want to play with the entire deck you can pull out all four of different cards. For example, don’t use the face cards, or only use the 1-8 cards. It’s a fun game that I would spend hours playing with grandma.

Tic-tac-toe only needs a paper and pencil. You can get puzzle books at the grocery store.

I like to make a game out of work. Time to check the coop for eggs. Whoever finds the most gets to pick out one item for supper or their favorite dessert. You can apply that to whoever puts the laundry away, makes their bed the fastest, puts up all of their toys first.

Whatever works for you and your situation.

Put if you are looking for more traditional games or ideas. Phase 10 is a great card game for all ages. It is simply and teaches organizational skills at the same time.

There is also a marble board game and I believe it is call Aggravation. I have spends hours playing this game with most of my relative. Another good one for all ages to play.

Check out Amazon or other sources. You can always have things delivered. You can also copy commercial games using materials found around the house.

Sidewalk chalk is a good entertainment possibility - depending on kid's age. We used to play hop scotch on the sidewalk. A lot of kids in our area have made lots of different things with the chalk.

You could get a large piece of paper and draw a target on it. You can then try tossing beanbags onto the target.

You could also hide items around the house or in the yard for a scavenger hunt. You can write up a list of things to find.

  • This is adorable. You can find rocks, paint them, then play. Three activities in one! ;)

Hi, I think you might want to take a look at some games that will interest you both no matter how old each of you is. There are games that absolutely everyone plays. I can recommend you https://overboost.pro/valorant-boosting. My wife and I and my sons like it. It is interesting and can instill in your child a sense of competition, which is very important in adulthood.
