Stenciled Window

This window was kinda blah. It just needed a little something and the stencil is exactly what I was looking for!

To start, make sure the glass is clean and decide which side you prefer facing out and stencil on the back side.

I picked this window up on the side of the road. I debated painting it but in the end I decided I like the pop of color. This project would work great with a six pane window as well.

This stencil is from Michael's and it worked out nicely because it has a sticky back.

I mixed a little silver with white so it would have a bit of an opaque look. Be careful not to overload your brush. In fact you really want to blot off most of the paint. Your stencil lines will look so much better.

I know it doesn't stand out but I wanted the stencil to look aged and as if it had been there a long time.

I added some fairy lights too. This pretty window is just what my white mudroom needed!!
